Discover Peranakan cuisines at a national monument! Museum Cafe at Thian Hock Keng Temple

Nestled on the 1st floor of Chong Wen Ge (), a national monument located next to Thian Hock Keng Temple, Museum Cafe is named after the Musical Box Museum on the 2nd floor, which was set up by the same owner passionate in music.

Peranakan cuisines like Babi Pongteh, Prawn Laksa, Chicken Curry, Chap Chye are served at the cafe. A variety of Nyonya Kueh, like Kueh Lapis, Kueh Dadar, Kueh Bingka, Ondeh Ondeh, etc., is also offered.

You can opt to enjoy your meal in the pagoda just a step outside the cafe, and be immersed in the charming, quaint setting, with decorative features on buildings crafted by Fujian and Teochew artisans some 170 years ago!
