76-year-old Mr Hui has been serving porridge since his tender age at 11. Before setting up his own stall, he used to help at his elder brother's porridge stall in Chinatown. Through long hours of simmering, the porridge is thick and smooth, with added savoury ingredients in each bowl. Every morning, Mr Hui buys Song fish () fresh from the Chinatown market. He is generous with big chunks of fish belly in the porridge. Connoisseurs will also be delighted to get fish maw/bladder porridge - a rare find locally, probably only at this stall. On the menu are sliced fish, fish head, pork, cuttlefish and century egg porridge. To feed his hungry customers, Mr Hui can be seen cooking a huge pot over the stove, stirring constantly. Watch the video to join us for an interesting journey of Mr Hui's cooking!
