Chicken Liver Pt Recipe (ft. the famous Baguio Country Club raisin bread)

RAISIN BREAD CROSTINI W/ CHICKEN LIVER PATE
Ingredients:
raisin bread, cut into strips
1 tbsp oil

Pate:
3 tbsp oil
1 pc onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
kg chicken livers, trimmed
1 pc bay leaf
tsp dried thyme
tsp salt
cup water
cup butter
pepper

Procedure:
Preheat your oven to 375. Place bread on a baking sheet and drizzle with oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until bread is toasted.
Make the liver pate by sauteing onions and garlic for 1 minute. Add livers, bay leaf, thyme, salt, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes or until cooked. Discard the bay leaf and strain the liver, onions, and garlic.
Transfer into a food processor. Puree in bursts until coarse and add the butter 3 tbsp at a time and blend until incorporated.
Season with salt and pepper. Transfer into a container and cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface and refrigerated. Serve chilled. Makes 6 servings
