Roasted Garbanzo BeansIt doesn't get much easier than this recipe right here. Roasted Garbanzo beans, or chickpeas, whichever you prefer, it's the same. High in protein and fiber. This recipe is great as a snack on its on and terrific on top of fresh salads. Try changing up the seasonings each time you make it. Garlic salt, cayenne, fresh herbs and different oils are all welcome. Here's how we make them:15 oz. can of garbanzo, rinsed then dried1/4 teaspoon of cumin1/4 teaspoon of paprika (sweet, spicy, smoked... your choice)Extra virgin olive oil, good splash!salt and pepper to tastelemon zest and juicerinse garbanzo beans, then dry. In a mixing bowl, add olive oil and spices. Mix well then place on a baking sheet. Heat in a 400 degree F oven for about 30 minutes. Great on its on or over a fresh salad.
