Fried Tofu with Spicy Mayo 8 oz. firm tofu, diced (250 g)1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 mL)1 teaspoon baking soda (5 mL)1/2 teaspoon onion powder (2.5 mL)1/2 cup all-purpose flour (65 g)1 teaspoon white vinegar (5 mL)1/2 cup vegetable milk (125 mL)Oil for fryingSpicy mayonnaise:3 tablespoons vegan mayonnaise (45 mL)1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (5 mL)1 teaspoon maple syrup (5 mL)Preparation:Fried Tofu1. Preheat fryer oil to 160C (325F).2. In a bowl, combine salt, baking soda, onion powder, flour, vinegar, and vegetable milk.3. Season tofu with salt. Add tofu to batter and mix well to coat.4.
