Fettuccine Alfredo | Gayathiri's Cookbook

It is so easy to make homemake Alfredo sauce.This alfredo sauce is made with 5 simple ingredients - Butter, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and heavy whipping cream.This sauce can be tossed with the pasta or the sauce can be spooned over hot pasta.

Ingredients:
Fettuccine pasta- 16 oz
Butter- 4 oz
Heavy whipping cream- 32 oz
Garlic cloves- 3
Parmesan cheese- 6 oz
Salt- As needed
Pepper powder- 1 tsp
Olive oil- 2 tsp
Parsley flakes- 1 tbsp

Directions:
1.Boil water in a large pot with 1 tsp of salt. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook until it is firm but not crunchy.
2.Add 1 tsp of olive oil.When the pasta is cooked, drain the water immediately.
3.Melt 4 oz butter over medium flame.When the butter is melted, add chopped garlic, 32 oz of heavy cream, salt and pepper powder.
4.Stir constantly until it has thickened.When the cheese starts to melt, add the cooked pasta and boil it for 2 minutes(This makes the pasta absorb the sauce).
5.Garnish with parsley flakes.Sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top and serve it.

Fettuccine Alfredo is ready!!
