Sesame seeds are rich in Protein, Minerals, Vitamins and Antioxidants.They can help in lowering the blood pressure, to prevent high blood pressure, fight infections and aids in cancer and diabetic treatment


This recipe for laddu is very simple and you can finish it quick with just 3 main ingredients when you have them handy.

Servings: 15
Ingredients:
Brown sesame seeds- 3/4 cup
Peanuts ( without husk)- 3/4 cup
Jaggery-3/4 cup
Cardamom-2
Ghee- 2 tablespoons


Directions:
1. Dry roast sesame seeds till it starts to burst. Let it cool down.
2. Grind into a coarse powder
3. Dry roast peanuts till they turn golden brown in color. Let it cool down.
4. Grind into a coarse powder.
5. Grind jaggery with cardamom into a coarse powder.
6. Add ghee and combine everything well
7. Make round balls/laddus out of the mixture immediately.

Sesame seed laddu is ready!!!
