Egg Yolk Misozuke Recipe (Egg Yolks and Vegetables Pickled with Miso) | Cooking with Dog

We are making delicious Egg Yolk Misozuke, which goes great with sake or hot steamed rice. This is one of the best snacks with sake so be careful not to drink too much.

How to make Egg Yolk Misozuke

(1 person) Cook Time: 15 minutes
* Marinating time is not included in cook time.

1 Egg Yolk
1 piece of Okra
1/2 Turnip

120g White Miso (4.2 oz)
Sake (approx. 1 tsp)
2 pieces of Cheesecloth (10x10cm/4x4 inches)
1 Plastic Bag

- Shoyuzuke -
2 Egg Yolks
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Mirin
(marinate for 6~24 hours)

* 1 tablespoon (tbsp) = 15 ml, 1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
