This is a South Indian spicy chutney made with small(pearl) onions, red chillies and tamarind.Ingredients:Pearl onions- 20-25Uraddal- 2 tspRed chillies- 5Tamarind- A small pieceSalt- As neededOil- 2 tspMustard seeds- 1/2 tspDirections:1. Roast 2 tsp uraddal and 5 red chillies in 1 tsp oil. When the dals turn golden brown, switch off the heat. Keep it aside.2.Saute onion with little salt until tender.3. Add a small piece of tamarind and saute for 2 minutes.4.Switch off the heat.Grind everything without water.5. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds.
