Dragon Bowl The Buddhist Chef

Dragon Bowl

2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons agave nectar table or maple syrup
1 cup (250ml) vegetable broth
240g of tempeh

Dragon Sauce:

1 tablespoon maple syrup
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup (10g) nutritional yeast


In a bowl, combine the toasted sesame oil, soy sauce, honey and vegetable broth.
Cut the tempeh into triangles and place in a pan. Pour the vegetable broth mixture over the tempeh. Simmer until the broth is absorbed, about 15 minutes.

Sauce:

Combine maple syrup, vegetable oil, powdered garlic, soy sauce and nutritional yeast. Mix well.

Serve in a bowl along with quinoa, sunflower sprouts, minced red pepper and garnish with pumpkin seeds.
