made a pot of hearty to go with corn kernels rice for tonight.Lets start cooking..Ingredients1/2 (250g) Cabbage(), cut into bite size1 block silken tofu (), cut into cubes8 slices shabu pork belly (optional), sliced halved2 medium ripen tomato, cut into chunks1 egg, lightly beaten with pinch of salt3 slices ginger1-litre water or stockMethod1. Saut sliced pork and ginger till aromatic add in tomato and cabbage (stems portion) and cook for 2 minutes till veggie turns soft2. Pour in water or stock and bring to boil3. Add remaining cabbage and simmer for 3 minutes or more (your prefer texture) till veggie is cooked through4. Add silken tofu, season with salt and pepper if requires5. When mixture comes to boil, turn off the heat and swirl in beaten egg6. Remove from heat and serve. note- sliced pork can be omitted for meatless version or replaced with minced meat, chicken or shrimp or your choice- if pork is omitted on step 1, replace with 1 /2 tbsp of oil to saut the mixture- water can be replaced with chicken/veggie stock for richer flavouful.Cookware + Serving Dish:- - 22 + - ()
