Baby Castella and Suzu Castella Recipe (Small Kasutera Cake using Takoyaki Pan) | Cooking with Dog

We are making Baby Castella and Suzu Castella with the same batter using a takoyaki pan. This bite-sized baby castella is fluffy and very delicious.

How to make Baby Castella and Suzu Castella

50g Bread Flour or substitute: all purpose flour (1.8 oz)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Egg
30g Sugar (1.1 oz)
1/2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Milk, warmed

Granulated Sugar for coating
Vegetable Oil

* 1 tablespoon (tbsp) = 15 ml, 1 teaspoon (tsp) = 5 ml
