When I Crave Korean Stir-fried Squid

Gonyak Bokkeum, Spicy Stir-Fried “Squid”
1/4 of green cabbage, cut into 1” pieces
1/2 onion, sliced
1 mideum carrot, sliced
1 zucchini or squash, sliced
2 konjac, sliced
7 to 8 cloves garlic, chopped
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp @yondu.usa
3 tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup
3 tbsp mirin
4 to 5 tbsp gochugaru
1 tbsp maesilaek, Korean green plum extract
2 tbsp cooking oil
Handful kkaetnip, sliced
1 jalapeno or serrano, sliced (optional)
Sesame seeds
Sesame oil
Green lettuce leaves
Kkaetnip, Korean wild sesame leaves
Mayonnaise (for this spicy stir-fried “squid”, it goes beautifully with mayo instead of saamjang. It’s a pretty popular combination in Korea when we eat fire spicy baby octopus.
