Two Ways to Steam Fall Vegetables | Graces Japanese Cooking

I love fall! I love fall vegetables! Anyone else excited for fall veggies? :) Fall is so cozy and calm:). Unlike our summer favorites, most fall vegetables take a little more time to cook. Roasting, grilling, soup making, are all beautiful ways to spend time in the kitchen:) oh- and the a-r-o-m-a!

Steaming vegetables is one of the most gentle and natural ways to cook our vegetables while preserving its natural nutrients:) Root vegetables such as daikon, beets, carrots, fall mushrooms, and cruciferous vegetables are best steamed to bring out their natural sweetness and flavor! Once steamed, enjoy with a pinch of high quality salt, miso-ginger sauce (see below), or your own favorite sauce! That's part of the fun!

Enjoy and Itadakimasu!
