Tteokguk Two Ways, Part 2: Anchovy Tteokguk

New Year's (both the lunar and Gregorian one) is coming, and in today's video, we will make anchovy broth tteokguk (dduk guk ). It is a Korean tradition to eat rice cake soup on New Year's, as we believe it helps us to age another year.

Today's tteokguk recipe is made with seasoned ground beef and an anchovy broth (from scratch)! It is delicious, clearing, and flavorful... The perfect way to usher in a new year, full of love, happiness, and good fortune for you and your family.

If you're more of a fan of the beef broth version, part 1 is for you, and can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=b62343N9qTw
