Known for their traditional handmade Foo Chow fishball stuffed with minced pork, the eatery has been in business for 55 years. The family business, currently helmed by the second generation Ms Seow Yoke Leng, is still keeping to the tradition of making their specialties by hand - fishball, Yen Pi (dumplings stuffed with pork, prawn & chestnut). Since 1996, they have also introduced several other Foo Chow delicacies. Amongst them are Red Wine Chicken Mee Sua, stir-fried Rice cakes, Lor Mee, and Nian Gao. The fish paste, made from yellowtail and grouper, is blended for hours with ice and tapioca flour. As the manual work is labour intensive, it's difficult to pass the legacy to the next generation. In time to come, the trade might be at risk of disappearing.
