This is how Lahmacun is prepared.

Traditional Turkish Street Food 'Lahmacun' may look like pizza from afar, but its no pizza, my friend. Lahmacun consists of thinly-rolled dough with a layer of minced meat, minced vegetables (tomato, onion and sometimes garlic), and a slew of herbs such as cayenne pepper and cumin.

In Turkey, you often add lettuce, onion and a little tomato onto the middle once its baked, then roll it up and dig in (think Turkish burrito). You might also include an ayran (traditional salty yogurt beverage) to drink. Well, as a matter of fact Ayran is a must with Lahmacun.

This is one of those dishes that has been around for forever, and will continue to be around for a long, long time. Humanity should be collectively thankful for that fact.
