The ultimate nutritious soups - so many choices you'd have a hard time deciding Ye Ji Wa Gung

Ask Mr Ye to recommend his specialties, and before you realise, you will be slurping away at their tasty, nutritious and full-bodied soup! Not only are their ingredients fresh, the couple stuffs every bowl of soup to the brim with ingredients, and offers them at reasonable prices.

For more than 20 years, the couple has been offering simmered soup cooked in gigantic ceramic urns, as well as double boiled soup. As early as 4am, Mr and Mrs Ye are already busy preparing to get ready their wide array of soups and side dishes - close to 30 in total! The nourishing soups offered can help boost the boost vitality, reduce body heat and detoxify the body. Premium Chinese herbs are used, including Angelican root (), Ginseng (), Astragalus root (), Ganoderma (), and many more.

The first things that catch the eye at the stall are three gigantic ceramic urns. These urns are used to simmer soups, and involves placing the soup ingredients in ceramic jars, then transferring them into the urns that simmer the soups for 4 hours using charcoal. The results of this cooking method are rich-tasting and heartwarming soups.

Some items on the menu include Ginseng Chicken Soup, Du Zhong Pig's Tail Soup, Tea Mushroom Pork Rib Soup, Salted Vegetable Duck Soup, among many others. With a few side dishes, the soups make a hearty meal if you are looking for some herbal tonic as a healthier choice.
