I made an apple cake with plenty of apples and plenty of cake. It's a great season to eat apples.*Recipe* (for one 21cm half round loaf mold)Ingredients430g Jonathan apple85g sugar20g water25g unsalted butter10g lemon juice2 eggs80g sugar100g almond powder40g cake flour3g baking powder40 g melted unsalted butterHow to make:Cook apples1.430g Jonathan apple, peel and core removed, cut into 8 equal pieces.2.Put 85g sugar and 20g water in a frying pan over medium heat.3.When the mixture turns a deep caramel color, add 25 g unsalted butter and melt. 4.Add the apples from (1) and stir.5.Add 10 g lemon juice and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.6.Arrange the apples in a baking pan lined with a baking paper.Make the cake batter7.In a bowl, mix 2 eggs and 80g sugar.8.Mix in 100g almond powder.9.Sift in 40g of cake flour and 3g of baking powder and mix.10.Add 40g of melted unsalted butter and mix.11.Pour the mixture over the apples from (6). Tap the mixture against a table to release the air. 12.Bake in a preheated oven at 170 for 43 minutes, switching the mold back and forth after 16 minutes and covering with aluminum foil to prevent burning after 35 minutes.13.Bake until nothing sticks to the cake when a bamboo skewer is inserted.14.Remove the cake from the mold when the cake is cool enough to touch with your hand. If it cools completely, the caramel will harden and be difficult to remove, so remove it while still warm.15.Done.I'll make it again.**21cm 1 430g 85g 20g 25g 10g 2 80g 100g 40g 3g 40g 430g8 85g 20g 25g1 10g10 2 80g 100g 40g 3g 40g6170431635
