Slurp-worthy dried chilli Ban Mian that makes a belly growl Mdm Leong Traditional Ban Mian

Madam Leong, who comes from Kuala Lumpur, takes pride in her Malaysia-style Ban Mian. Longing for a taste of her hometown when she came to Singapore, she started a business making her hometown Ban Mian.

Mdm Leong fries her own dried shrimp chilli and Ikan Bilis, as well as hand makes noodles, which have a chewy bite and springy texture to them. Each bowl of dried chilli noodle is served with minced meat, crispy bean curd skin, a runny egg, meatballs, and vegetables. It is garnished with fried shallots, and Ikan Bilis, and finally topped with chilli paste. Give the bowl a thorough mix and pair it with the unique Sayur Manis soup () to get yourself a fulfilling meal.

If youd like something more meaty, try the Braised Pork with Black Fungus Ban Mian! Their savoury pork belly is marinated for a day, before proceeding to fry and simmer with black fungus.

If you prefer soup, try the hand-pulled Mee Hoon Kway which is silky yet chewy. Dip the kway in belachan chilli sauce, and be blown away by the fiery chilli!
