Hi all, we are now at Joo Chiat Road. Today I am going to bring you to a place called Loving Hut. It is along Joo Chiat Road. Loving Hut is one of the largest family of vegan restaurants in the world in which they have more than 200 outlets in major cities all over the world. All their menu items are made with only wholesome plant based ingredients. You can take bus number 33 to this place.
I am just filming this part to show you Loving Hut but in fact I went in the evening for dinner.
You can see that their menu is quite comprehensive, mainly to cater to the taste bud of the locals here. We ordered the banana leaf nasi campur and the char kway teow set.
This is the char kway teow set. The char kway teow set is presented nicely with a nice of soup and popiah. Did you see the oily glitter on the char kway teow? This is one of the better char kway teow sets that I have tried. You dont feel that you are eating a vegan dish here. This char kway teow is very tasty and it is very comparable to those non vegan char kway teow.
Here comes the banana leaf nasi campur. The banana leaf nasi campur is also very tasty but I would say the char kway teow taste much better. I guess if you taste something that make you feel wow in the first place, the subsequent dishes will not or may not be able to match it.
Now lets take a look at this place while most of the customers have left. Loving Hut is a very simple and cosy restaurant but its a very pleasant place to have your meals here with family and friends.
