Please press the subscribe button to know my food updates. Today, Im going Geylang. Is Geylang the the redlight district? Yes it is, where there are many hanky panky things going on. But Geylang is also a place where good food are. If you want to eat Dim sum, I would recommend you 126. For Banmian in Geylang, I would recommend you to eat L32. Lorong 32 Banmian. The nearest Mrt is the Paya Lebar MRT. It is about 10 mins walk. This L32 is owned by a couple who do not know how to cook Banmian initially. This L32 is located in a small coffeeshop, selling drinks, and ngoh hiang. The noodles are handmade daily. Be prepared to wait for at least 20 mins even though it is off peak time. We cam around 5pm plus. Though, there were not many customers, we still need to wait for wait about 20 mins. There are many shophouses atgeylang. While waiting, we ordered ngong hiang beside the stall. I duno what is the name of this white crunchy thing, but it taste pretty nice. Finally the banmian came. The noodles are handmade. These is the banmian. Look at the huge portion of ikan bilis. I ordered the youmiam. The pork is also huge portion, which makes it nice to dip in the chilli.
