This sweet and spicy prune pineapple pachadi is delicious, versatile and so easy to make! Its an irresistible side dish recipe.This delicious Prune pineapple pachadi is something you would never want to miss out on!
Ingredients:
Pineapple- 2 cups
Mango- 1 cup
Prunes- 1 cup
Dry fruits-1/2 cup
Pinch phoron- 1 tsp
Red chilli powder- 2 tbsp
Salt- a pinch
Dry red chillies-2
Curry leaves- for seasoning
Tamarind water- 1/2 cup
Recipe:
1. Heat 2 tsp oil.Add and fry 1 tsp of ranch phoron. Then add red chillies, curry leaves, pineapple chunks, mango pieces, and dry fruits. Sauté for 5 minutes.
2.Now add red chilli powder and cook until the raw smell goes away.Then add tamarind water , 1 cup water and salt..
3.Add prunes when the fruit pieces have softened.Let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
4.Switch off the heat when all the fruit pieces have softened.This pachadi will be good and tasty if it is prepared 1 or 2 days in advance.
5.This goes very well with curd rice, roti etc..
