Only 5 Ingredients Needed! Super Easy Mango Sago Pomelo Chinese Summer Dessert Recipe

This super yummy Mango Sago Pomelo dessert was invented by former head chef (Mr Wong Wing Chi) of Lei Garden in 1984. He created this recipe to suit the taste of Singaporeans as they were opening their first branch in Singapore. Since then, many different people have started to make their own version of Mango Pomelo Sago and we're happy to present ours. Other than the ingredients we used in this recipe, Mr Wong added coconut milk and milk but we omitted them because we didn't think it will really make a lot of difference but feel free to add some coconut milk to add fragrance to this dessert. If you like your dessert to be less creamier than ours, simply add more water and reduce the amount of evaporated milk. As evaporated milk is slightly sweet, you may need to increase the amount of sugar used since you'll be adding more water.

See the ingredient list below for your easy reference.

Hope you can recreate this yummy dish in the comfort of your home. Happy cooking!
