Assam Prawns / Tamarind Shrimp Recipe
Serves 4 pax

INGREDIENT LIST


50g (1.76oz) assam / tamarind paste
80ml (2.71 fl oz) hot water
20g (0.71oz) brown sugar (reduce by a quarter or half if you want the dish to be more tangy)
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp premium dark soy sauce
0.5 tsp salt
A few dashes white pepper
500g (17.64 oz) prawns, deveined
