One more bowl of Ah Ma Mee Sua please! Chye Lye Ah Ma Mee Sua ()

Named after the business owner Mr Ong, the stall Chye Lye Ah Ma Mee Sua () has established a name for its signature Ah Ma Mee Sua. The non-salty mee sua is specially imported from Muar in Malaysia. When cooked, it soaks up the flavours of tender pork liver, homemade meat balls, chunky stewed mushroom. To add more flavour, it is topped with freshly fried ginger shreds and drizzled with Hua Diao Wine before serving.

When there's Ah Ma (grandma), Ah Gong (grandpa) comes along. Another signature on the menu goes to Ah Gong Dou Qian. Dou Qian is fried soy bean noodle made from a mixture of bean powder and wheat seeds. The soy bean noodles are supplied by a local 4th generation noodle manufacturer established since 1941.

Ah Ma and Ah Gong noodles are both soup base. For individuals with heavier tastebuds, go for the dry mee hoon kway or mee pok. Handmade, the mee hoon kway is smooth and Q, and when mixed with homemade sauce, it just tastes so good!
