Nutritionism is spewed by the gallon on the internet, and in the realm of weight loss, can primarily be seen as an overfocus on niche nutritional concepts that have little bearing on actual weight loss.

Frequently, this leads to people missing the forest for the trees and forgetting that no matter how ideal and on-point their diet is, the only thing that leads to weight loss is a calorie deficit.
