More and more processed vegan foods like the Beyond Meat Burger, gluten vegan free crackers and snacks, and processed grains and starches are appearing no store shelves under the plant-based label.

The assumption seems to be that because these foods are vegan, they are healthy, or at least create a neutral effect on our health compared to the consumption of animal foods.

In this video we dive into two recent studies comparing plant based diets centered around processed or whole plant foods.
