Mint is a popular herb and a well-known mouth freshener that has been used for hundreds of years for its medicinal properties.It can be used in many culinary preparations in its fresh or dried form. I have made this mint rice in a very simple way without using too many ingredients and it turned out delicious.It's a very simple recipe.Try it out!Ingredients:Basmati rice- 1 cupMint - 20 leavesOnion-1Green chillies- 4Bay leaves- 1cinnamon stick 1Fennel seeds- 1 tspCoconut- 1/4 cupGinger garlic paste- 1/2 tspJeera- 1 tspSalt- as neededDirections:1.Cook 1 cup basmati rice. Keep it ready.2. Grind mint leaves, green chillies, jeera, ginger garlic paste and coconut with little water into a fine paste.3.Heat 2 tsp oil. Add cinnamon stick, bay leaf and fennel seeds and onion. Saute until onion is translucent.4.
