Run by a couple from Nanjing, China, the stall has been established at Alexandra Village Hawker Centre over 10 years. But for business owner Mr Zhang, his experience went far beyond that, as he has been in this line for over 30 years since he was 19. As a master of the trade himself managing the Michelin recommended stall, it is of no surprise to find the never-ending queue. As you might have guessed, his signature is the Xiao Long Bao and pan-fried dumplings, both are handmade daily on the spot, using the freshest ingredients. Dunk them in vinegar, and they will pop with juice in the mouth. Szechuan spicy Wanton () and Szechuan spicy noodles () are other popular dishes. Both have mild spicy kick that lures one from stop eating.
