Paneer pieces cooked with fresh fenugreek leaves in onion tomato masala.METHI PANEERIngredients 1 medium fresh fenugreek leaves (methi)250 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into ½ inch pieces1 tablespoon oil1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)1 tablespoon ginger-garlic-green chilli paste 1 medium tomato, finely chopped½ teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder½ teaspoon cumin powderSalt to taste ½ cup onion-tomato masala½ teaspoon garam masala powder1 tablespoon lemon juiceGinger strips for garnishingMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and when it changes colour, add ginger-garlic-green chilli paste and sauté for 1 minute.2. Add fenugreek leaves, mix and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add tomato and sauté for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and 2-3 tablespoons water, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.4. Add onion-tomato masala, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add garam masala powder, cottage cheese pieces and lemon juice, mix and cook for 1 minute.5.
