Kung Pao Chicken (宫保鸡丁) | The Chinese Cuisine

This is a stir-fried, mildly spicy dish that is traditionally eaten in China and also popular in Western culture, where it is often modified.

INGREDIENTS:
-1 tablespoon cornstarch
-1.5 tablespoon whisked egg
-several small sweet peppers
-peanuts
-ginger strips
-chopped green onion
-broad bean paste with chili
-1 teaspoon sugar
-cooking wine
-light soy sauce
-sesame oil

DIRECTIONS
1. dice chicken breast
2. add salt to chicken and cover in even layer of corn starch
3. add whisked egg and mix
4. add olive oil to heated stir-fry pan
5. cook the peanuts in the oil until they turn a golden color
6. set aside the peanuts and cook the chicken until they are 3/4ths of the way cooked
7. set aside the chicken and stir fry the ginger, green onions, and broad bean paste
8. dump the peanuts, chicken, and sliced peppers into the stir-fry pan
9. stir fry the ingredients, while adding cooking wine, sugar, and soy sauce
10. let the chicken cook until all the liquid has evaporated
11. add some sesame oil
12. serve and enjoy!
