WE have used microwave but this batter can be used in regular idli steamer as well. It is protein rich and make a perfect weight loss recipe. Stay fit, Stay healthy!INSTANT OATS IDLI AND PEANUT CHUTNEY 1 cup oats flour ½ cup yogurt½ cup parsley or coriander/mint leaves1 tsp Jalapeno peppers (optional)1/3 tsp Soda ½ cup waterSalt to tasteMicrowave idli maker or a microwave safe bowl and a cup of waterFor peanut chutney 1 cup peanuts1 green chilli 2 kahsmiri red chilli1 tsp cumin seedsLemon juice Salt to taste2 cups water METHODAdd oats flour, yogurt, parsley, pepper, salt, and water. Make a paste and then add sod. Keep it aside. MAKING IDLI IN MICROWAVE MOULDTake idli mould and grease it. Pour the batter. Add water to the bottom tray of idli mould. Place the idli trays and close the lid. The steam venting should be closed or very slightly open. Microware for 3-6 mins and check in between. The knife/toothpick should come out clean.MAKING IDLI WITHOUT THE MICROWAVE MOULDTake any microwave safe bowl and grease it. Pour the batter. Take a microwave safe cup and fill with water. Place both in microwave and cook for 3-6 mins. Check in between. The knife/toothpick should come out clean.CHUTNEYMix all the ingredients and blend until smooth. TIPS:You can also use the same batter in normal steamer to make oats idlis. It will take few mins more. The color of idli can anywhere between yellowish white to yellowish brown. It’s normal.
