How To ID Turkey Tails

Turkey tails (Trametes versicolor) are one of the most common fungi in Canada, the US and in many countries worldwide. It is found virtually anywhere there are dead hardwood logs (for more info see the links below).

This is one of the most commonly studied fungi and there are no shortage of studies that indicate turkey tails support our immune system. They have also been found to help in the treatment of several cancers.

In addition to being an immune system enhancement, it possesses anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties.
