How to make ★TAKUAN★ Japanese Traditional Daikon Pickles (EP245) | Kitchen Princess Bamboo

Today I want to share with you how to make TAKUAN, Japanese traditional Daikon pickles.

It's a great accompany for Onigiri.
And it's used for Sushi roll.

It's easy to make but it tastes much better than store bought.

1 large Daikon (1 kg)
16g salt
1 dried gardenia fruits
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup Sake
60g sugar
