How to make Tempura - Sea bream tempura recipe -

Chef Dai cooks authentic sea bream tempura garnished with a beautiful cherry blossom tree.

Tempura batter ingredients:

Japanese tempura flour x 100g
alternatively, Plain flour x 100g
Baking soda x 1/2 tea spoon
Corn flour x 1 Tbsp
Ice cold water x 200ml
Egg x 1
Vegetable oil
Sea bream fillets x 2
Soumen noodles
nori strip x 1
chilli sauce
sea salt - to taste

Batter consistency and oil temperature are paramount to perfectly crispy tempura.
