Homemade Jade Noodles (自制面条) | The Chinese Cuisine

These naturally green noodles are 100% homemade and delicious!

INGREDIENTS:
- bok choy
- all purpose flour
- toppings: bok choy, fish sauce, sesame oil, boiled egg, chicken breast

DIRECTIONS:
1. to make the green juice, chop up bok choy
2. put mushed up bok choy in a cheesecloth and squeeze out the juice
3. the extra bok choy can be used in fillings for buns etc.
4. slowly mix in flour until you get a hard dough
5. let the dough sit for about an hour
6. after an hour, roll the dough out with a rolling pin into thin, flat sheet
7. fold the dough as shown in video, and slice into thin slices
8. boil some water and cook noodles normally (~5 minutes)
9. strain noodles
10. add desired broth and toppings! we boiled some bok choy in water + fish sauce, boiled an egg, added chicken breast, and drizzled in some sesame oil!
11. serve and enjoy!
