Have you been to a fish soup stall with its own grouper fish farm? King Grouper Fish Soup ()

Befitting of its name, a Giant Grouper () can weigh up to more than 100kg. A premium delicacy usually served in high end restaurants, the fish is known for its collagen-rich, thick yet chewy skin.

Aiming to share this delicacy with more people, fish farm owner Mr Chew Kim Hwee opens his fish soup stalls at coffeeshops and hawkers. He is able to keep the cost manageable as he breeds Giant Grouper off Changi at his own floating fish farm. At just $6, one can enjoy a hearty bowl of fish soup.

Choose from grouper fish head, sliced Grouper, Batang, Red Grouper or mixed seafood. If you like, try their Teochew Steamed Grouper Fish that has a generous portion of the fresh, premium fish.
