Healthy Broccoli stuffed paratha!!

Stuffed paratha are very popular among all Indian households. Most of our kids don’t like the taste of broccoli and texture of this highly nutritious vegetable that we ignore to add it to our diet. This is a great way to sneak it into your kid’s diet.

Broccoli is a nutrition powerhouse full of Vitamins, minerals, fiber and Antioxidants. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C, a nutrient to support healthy immune system. It can be eaten raw or cooked.

Ingredients:
Broccoli florets- 15-20
Green chillies-4
Jeera/ cumin seeds- 1 teaspoon
Salt-1 teaspoon
Wheat flour- 2 cups
Oil - As needed
Serving-6

Directions:
1. Soak broccoli florets in salt water for 10 minutes. Strain the water.
2. Using a food processor/ Mixer, shred it finely.
3. Pulse it with green chillies, jeera and salt. Squeeze the water out.
4. Take 2 cups wheat flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a bowl.
5. Add water little at a time to make a smooth dough.
6. Divide the dough into equal parts(Lemon sized).
7. Dust with flour and roll into a small circle.
8. Make small round balls out of broccoli mixture and place at the center of the circle.
9. Stretch the dough and pick up the edges and pinch on top.Keep it aside for at least 5 minutes.
10. Dust with flour, roll into 4-5 inch circle.(you need to roll it very gently, otherwise the mixture will come out.
11. Heat a griddle and place the paratha on the griddle. Drizzle some oil around it.
12. Cook both sides until golden brown.

Very soft, healthy and tasty paratha is ready!!!.
