Bombay Sandwich | Gayathiri's Cookbook

This sandwich is one of the famous street foods of Bombay, hence the name. It’s an exceptionally easy recipe that can be made within 10-15 minutes.

Its can be made mild or spicy in taste and a very good lunch box recipe.

Ingredients:

Bread slices- 2
Butter- 2 teaspoons
Coriander chutney- 2 tablespoons
Cucumber -1
Tomatoes-1
Chat powder- 2 teaspoons
Onions-1
Potato-1
Cheese- As needed
Hot & sweet ketchup / Red chilli chutney- 1 teaspoon

Directions:
1. Take 2 bread slices.Spread butter on both slices.
2. Spread coriander chutney on one slice.
3. Place cucumber and tomato slices. Sprinkle chat powder on top.
4. Place sliced onions,cooked potato slices and cheese.
5. Spread red chilly chutney/hot and sweet ketchup on the 2nd bread.
6. Grill the sandwich until golden brown. Spread butter on top.
7. Spread more coriander chutney on the toasted sandwich and sprinkle sev on top.

Bombay sandwich is ready!!
