(ad) 5 ingredient apple and cauliflower cheese tarts!

(ad) It's easy to make these delicious and totally beautiful cauliflower cheese tarts with just five ingredients. The star of the show is Seriously Spreadable - an extremely tasty spreadable cheese made with real Scottish cheddar that gives these little tarts a delicious cheddar taste and smooth texture. Super versatile and suitable for vegetarians.

Here's the full recipe:

Ingredients

2 x 125g pots of Seriously Spreadable Original

1 x 320g ready rolled shortcrust pastry

200g cauliflower, cut into small florets

4 medium eggs

Pinch of salt and black pepper

1 pink lady apple, cored, halved and thinly sliced

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200C (180C fan).

Take the pastry out of the fridge 10-15 minutes before you need it so that it relaxes enough to unroll.

Parboil the cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and allow to cool.

Unroll the pastry and cut four discs larger than your tart cases. Press the discs into the tins and trim off any excess.

Place the tins on a baking tray.

Arrange the cooled cauliflower florets in the pastry cases.

Spoon the Seriously Spreadable into a bowl. Beat well to loosen.

Add the eggs, salt and pepper and beat until welcome combined. Dont worry if it seems to scramble at first - it will come together.

Spoon the Seriously Spreadable and egg mix evenly into the pastry cases.

Arrange the sliced apple on top of each tart.

Sprinkle with more pepper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and set through. To check they are set, put a skewer in the centre of each one - it should come out clean.
