Achari Paneer tikka is a delicious starter made with paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese) marinated in an achari (Pickle spices) marinade. The soft and juicy morsels is quick and easy appetizer.ACHARI PINEAPPLE TIKKAIngredients1 medium pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch pieces3 tablespoons mango pickle masala (achar) + for brushing1 teaspoon coriander seeds ½ teaspoon onion seeds (kalonji)¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds¼ cup hung yogurt ½ teaspoon garam masala powder¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon yellow mustard powder1 teaspoon red chilli powder1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste Salt to taste Oil for greasingGreen capsicum curls for garnishingMethod1. Dry-roast coriander seeds, onion seeds and fenugreek seeds in a non-stick pan till fragrant. Transfer in a mortar and coarsely crush using a pestle.2. To prepare marinade, mix together hung yogurt, ground roasted coriander mixture, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, yellow mustard powder, chilli powder and pickle masala and ginger-garlic paste in a bowl. Add salt and mix well.3. Add pineapple pieces to the marinade and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes. 4. Preheat oven to 180° C.5. Grease a baking tray with some oil and place the marinated pineapple pieces. Put the tray into the preheated oven and bake for 4-5 minutes.6.
