Zinc Deficiency On A Raw Food Or Vegan Diet

People eating raw food diets like 80/10/10, or just a plain cooked vegans diet, are often worried about zinc deficiency.

The raw foodists will usually fail to hit the RDI for zinc by a considerable margin, and those eating cooked diets have to worry about phytic acid (phytates) binding with their zinc so it's not absorbed by their bodies.
