Let's have a look at water spinach stir fry recipe, an easy vegetable dish you can make quickly and yummy!

Stir fry water spinach (or some people call morning glory) is a common Asian dish we can see in many countries.
Each country may have a slightly different ingredients to make their stir fry sauce.
Even in Thailand we cook it differently sometimes.

This meal can be the main dish you eat with rice or most Thais also have it as the veggies side dish to eat along the other protein.

Now let's go through the ingredients

Recipe: Water Spinach Stir Fry Recipe | Thai Girl in the Kitchen

Ingredients :

- 180g. Water spinach
- 5-6 cloves Garlic
- Red chili as many as you want
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce*
- 1/2 tbsp Light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Preserved soy bean (Tauco/TaoJiao)**
- 3 tbsp Vegetable oil


**NOTE :
1) If you want to make this dish vegetarian, you can replace the oyster sauce with mushroom sauce
2) Taoco (we call Taojiao in Thailand) is a preserved soy bean which gives a little salty and umami taste to the dish.
If you cannot get one, you can leave it out and increase another 1/2 tbsp. of light soy sauce instead.
