This Deer Stew Recipe is really simple, quick and can be made with any stew meat you have on hand. I have done this type of venison recipe quite a few times before but just recently learned the brine method with the salt water to take gameness out of game meats like this. It really made a huge different in the end result for those that are not into that distinct flavor of deer. I personally find deer meat very tasty and do not mind, but I know many people find it a bit strong in recipes. Another advantage of venison besides the fact that it is hormone and chemical free, is that it is very low on fat and very high in protein if you are trying to eat lean. I hope you guys give this stew a try even if you do not have venison on hand you can use beef stew meat like I said and it will turn out amazing.
