How to make vanilla pound cake from scratch! You'll love this easy cake recipe! Traditionally, a pound cake is made with one pound of every ingredient. This recipe feeds off the traditional pound cake recipe by using half a pound of every main ingredient. But I have also added some other ingredients like milk, baking powder and salt which I feel like this cake really needs. And of course there's some vanilla extract in the cake for amazing flavor!
