Ingredients:

Water [पानी] - 2-3 glass
Salt [नमक] - 1 tbsp
Ginger [अदरक] - 1 tbsp
Urad Dal [उड़द दाल] - 250 gms
CURD PASTE
Curd [दही] - 1 cup
Garam Masala [गरम मसाला] - 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder [हल्दी पाउडर] - 1/2 tbsp
Coriander Powder [धनिया पाउडर] - 1 tbsp
Green Chili Paste [हरी मिर्च पेस्ट] - 1 tbsp
FOR COOKING
Oil [तेल] - 1/3 cup
Cumin Seeds [ज़ीरा] - 1 tsp
Garlic [लहसुन] - 5-6 cloves (chopped)
Green Chili [हरी मिर्च] - 4-5 pcs (long) (whole)
Curry Leaves [कढ़ी पत्ते] - 1 string
Asafoetida [हींग] - 1 tsp
Onion [प्याज़] - 1 pc (large) (chopped)
Tomato [टमाटर] - 1 pc (large) (chopped)
Water [पानी] - as needed
