Tiramisu' Pandoro Cake. This Christmas I wanted to prepare something different and this dessert amazed everyone at the table. It's creamy and soft. It's light and fluffy. It's not too sweet. Has chocolate and coffee, a win-win combo. I will prepare it again for new year's eve!For Kids:- To avoid caffeine, switch to a decaf coffee mix.- If they don't like the coffee flavor, you can switch the coffee with a mix of milk (1 cup), vanilla (1 Tbsp) and cocoa powder (1 Tbsp). The main ingredient is the Pandoro, a traditional Christmas Italian cake that you buy at the store. If you cannot find Pandoro I would substitute it with a brioche bread or challah works too. The pandoro has a star shape that was very easy to cut and geometrically assemble in the cake mold. With any other shape you will have to work as in a puzzle and cut pieces in order to cover the sides and bottom of the cake mold. INGREDIENTS:1 Pandoro cake 16oz (450gr) mascarpone (one container)8oz (230ml) heavy whipping cream (half pint)a bit less than 1/4 cup (50gr.) sugar1 handful chocolate chips1 cup Italian coffeeunsweetened cocoa powder + powdered sugar for decoration on topLet me know in the comments if you try it, it's simply delicious!Ciao
