Takikomi GOHAN Japanese Seasoned Rice cooked with various ingredients Traditional Recipe

Today I am going to be making Takikomi Gohan.
We make this rice dish throughout the year, but exceptionally good with newly harvested rice.
The ingredients cooked with rice is up to you, and my favorite is root vegetables like "Gobo" burdock root. Don't forget to add dried shiitake mushrooms!

46 servings
3 cups (540ml)short grain rice
400500g ingredients
Skinless-Boneless Chichen thigh
"Gobo" burdock root
carrot
"Aburaage" Deep-fried Tofu
Konjack
Dried Shiitake Mushroom
Bamboo shoot
3 tablespoons soy sauce
(preferably light)
3 tablespoons Mirin
3 tablespoons Sake
1 piece Dried-Kombu
460ml water +Shiitake Water
