Stir-fried Spicy Chicken (西式辣鸡丁) | The Chinese Cuisine

Nuggets of chicken coated in a crunchy, spicy, flavorful outer layer!

INGREDIENTS:
- 0.9lb chicken tenders
- 1/2 long hot pepper
- 1/2 stalk green onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp buttermilk
- black pepper powder
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp red pepper powder (Korean)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp turmeric

DIRECTIONS:
1. Mix together flour, hot red pepper powder, paprika, and turmeric
2. Coat the chicken pieces evenly in buttermilk
3. Coat the chicken evenly in the flour mixture
4. Add oil to pan on medium heat
5. Pan-fry the chicken in the oil
6. Turn down heat to low once chicken is cooked on the outside
7. Pan-fry green onions and long hot pepper in oil
8. Mix and stir-fry everything together
9. Sprinkle on black pepper powder and salt and distribute evenly
10. Serve and enjoy!
